What is Dry Ice Blasting?

Dry Ice Blasting is a non-abrasive cleaning process that uses dry ice pellets accelerated by compressed air to remove contaminants from a surface. The dry ice pellets, turn directly from a solid to a gas upon impact, leaving no residue behind.

The impact of the CO2 pellets will remove surface contaminants, bacteria and toxins without the use of heat, steam and/or harsh chemicals.

How does Dry Ice Blasting compare to traditional blasting methods?

Dry Ice Blasting is by far one of the most superior forms of cleaning within the commercial and industrial cleaning industries. The unbeatable technology paves way for attacking bacteria and build-up of dirt and grime across a large surface area, over a short period of time.

In comparison to sand-blasting, soda-blasting and water-blasting, dry ice blasting does not accumulate contaminants in the waste stream and thus significantly reduces the amount of secondary waste for disposal.

Dry Ice Blasting also comes out on top as it is non-abrasive and chemical-free. Instead of using petrochemical processes, which release harmful gases into the environment, our environmentally friendly technology uses CO2.

How does Dry Ice Blasting compare to steam cleaning?

Although both steam cleaning and dry ice blasting are effective methods of cleaning, Dry Ice Blasting comes out on top as it is safe for delicate surfaces.

It leaves behind no residue, steam cleaning, on the other hand, can leave behind water and other residues.

Dry ice blasting is a very efficient cleaning process. It can clean a large area quickly and easily. Steam cleaning, on the other hand, can be a more time-consuming process.

Dry ice blasting can be used to clean a variety of surfaces, both delicate and tough. Steam cleaning, on the other hand, is not as versatile. It is best suited for cleaning floors, walls, and ceilings.
